Engineering & Manufacturing for Custom Motion Platforms

We connect mechanical, electrical, control and software engineering to the people who build, integrate and test the platform. Your project follows one controlled path from an approved requirement to factory acceptance evidence.

For a custom 3DOF, 6DOF or Stewart platform, we review the application, payload, center of gravity, motion, installation envelope, upper-equipment interface, host connection and acceptance scope before releasing a configuration for build.

Replace with approved CSCMotion project evidence that visibly connects an engineering output to the platform being built or tested.

What Should You Verify Before Choosing a Motion Platform Manufacturer?

A supplier should be able to explain how a requirement becomes a released design, what work it controls, how purchased components are handled and which evidence supports shipment. These questions expose the gaps that product specifications alone cannot show.

01 Who Owns the System Definition?

Confirm who translates your payload, center of gravity, motion, interface and site constraints into the platform configuration.

02 Are the Main Inputs Reviewed Together?

Payload, CG, inertia, motion and installation space interact. They should not be accepted as isolated catalog values.

03 What Is Built, Integrated or Sourced?

Ask for a clear boundary between CSCMotion-designed work, internal operations, selected components, external processes and customer items.

04 How Is the Host Interface Defined?

Commands, status, faults, operating permission, coordinates and responsibility must be agreed before integration.

05 What Will Be Checked Before Shipment?

Inspection, functional motion, interface, safety-state and performance checks need an agreed scope and method.

06 Which Records Will You Receive?

The handover should match the quoted project: configuration, drawings, interfaces, test evidence and support information as agreed.

Brand and operating company

Company Identity and Operating Scope

CSCMotion is our international motion-platform brand. Nanjing AllController Technology Co., Ltd. is the operating company identified in our commercial and project documentation. Our engineering and manufacturing work is based in Nanjing, China.

We focus on the motion-platform subsystem. For overseas projects, that normally means working directly with an OEM, test laboratory, research team or system integrator that owns the upper equipment, host application or complete simulator.

01 · Definition

Requirements and Feasibility

We identify required values, assumptions, missing information and responsibility boundaries before proposing a standard, adapted or fully custom configuration. If the requested combination is not realistic, the review should expose that before a design is released.

02 · Mechanical

Geometry, Kinematics and Load Path

Mechanical engineering connects platform geometry and actuator arrangement to workspace, motion envelope, joint loading, actuator sizing, structural load path, mounting interfaces and service access. Analysis depth depends on configuration and acceptance scope.

03 · Electrical & control

Power, Drives, Feedback and Safe States

We define the coordination of controller, drives, motors, feedback, limits, I/O, power distribution, protection, grounding, cabinet cooling and agreed fault or stop behavior. The final safety responsibility for the complete machine remains part of the documented supply boundary.

04 · Software & interface

Kinematics and Host Integration

Platform-side software converts the defined motion command into coordinated actuator movement and reports status, limits and faults. We agree the coordinate system, protocol, update behavior, operating permissions and test method for the customer’s host or simulator interface.

05 · Release

Controlled Information for Build

A concept becomes a buildable project only after the relevant layout, drawings, schematics, configuration, interfaces and open technical points are controlled. Changes after release are reviewed for their effect on performance, manufacturing, schedule and acceptance.

What We Manufacture, Assemble and Integrate

The proposal should identify the responsibility for each important item. We do not describe every purchased industrial component as a CSCMotion-made product, and we do not treat system assembly as proof that every upstream process happened internally.

System area Typical CSCMotion responsibility Boundary classification Evidence to request
Requirements & platform configuration Review application inputs and define the proposed platform scope. CSCMotion-designed Requirement matrix, assumptions and proposal definition.
Platform geometry & interfaces Define actuator arrangement, base/moving structure and mounting interfaces for the approved configuration. CSCMotion-designed Layout, envelope, interface or analysis sample.
Base and moving structures Release project-specific structural information; fabrication and processing route is confirmed per project. Internal / qualified external process Released drawing, process evidence and incoming/dimensional check.
Electric actuator assemblies Define or select the actuator for the configuration, integrate motor, transmission, joint and feedback, and verify as scoped. Designed / integrated / sourced as defined Actuator configuration, assembly evidence and test record.
Motors, drives, bearings and sensors Select industrial components against project requirements and integrate them into the system. Selected third-party components Approved configuration/BOM and incoming-control logic.
Control cabinet Design the project electrical arrangement and assemble, wire, label, inspect and integrate the cabinet as quoted. Assembled & integrated by CSCMotion Schematic, cabinet-stage photos and electrical checks.
Platform assembly Integrate structure, actuators, joints, feedback, cables, controller and cabinet into the supplied platform subsystem. Assembled & integrated by CSCMotion Work-stage images, configuration and inspection records.
Host, upper equipment and complete simulator Define interfaces and support integration within the quoted boundary; ownership normally remains with the OEM, integrator or end user. Customer / integrator supplied Responsibility matrix, interface document and integration test.
System verification & FAT Inspect and test the supplied configuration against the agreed FAT scope before release. Performed by CSCMotion FAT plan, report, witness record, images or video.

One controlled project path

From Approved Requirements to a Factory-Tested Platform

Engineering and manufacturing stay useful only when information passes between them in a controlled form. The exact reviews and documents vary with project risk and quoted scope.

Step 01

Requirements Review

Application, load, motion, interface, site, safety and acceptance boundaries are collected and questioned.

Step 02

Feasibility & Configuration

We assess whether a standard, adapted or fully custom platform path is appropriate.

Step 03

Detailed Engineering

Mechanical, electrical, control and interface information is developed and released for build.

Step 04

Procurement & Incoming Control

Project components and qualified external processes are managed against the released definition.

Step 05

Manufacturing & Assembly

Structures, actuator assemblies, cabinet and platform are built or integrated to controlled information.

Step 06

Control Integration

Wiring, drives, feedback, I/O, communication, limits and operating states are configured and checked.

Step 07

Verification & FAT

The assembled platform is tested against the supplied configuration and agreed acceptance scope.

Step 08

Release & Handover

Configuration, records, documents, packaging and post-delivery support scope are released.

Outputs procurement and engineering can review

Documents and Records Your Team Can Review

Project documents depend on configuration, responsibility and quoted scope. We distinguish normal handover information from optional reports and proprietary material.

Typical project outputs

Definition and Handover

The normal document set identifies the supplied configuration and the information needed to integrate, operate and maintain it.

Analysis and Acceptance Records

Additional engineering and test records are included when they are defined as project deliverables.

Controlled or NDA-limited

Protected Engineering Information

Supplier IP, customer confidentiality and safe system use require clear information-access boundaries.

Request a redacted example →
Management-system certification and product conformity are different. ISO certificates apply to the named organization and scope shown on the certificate. CE or other product documentation applies only to the relevant configuration and declared scope.
